Game On, Play Fair! – Essential Rules & Regulations for a Smooth and Competitive Tournament

1. Eligibility Rule – Winners Participation

a) Any team that wins a Padel Clash tournament will not be eligible to participate as the same team in the following 1 tournament.

However, the winning players can still join future tournaments if they form a different team with a new partner.

This rule is to keep the competition fair and to give more players a chance to experience winning.

2. General Rules

a) The tournament is open to all padel players in Sadat city.

b) Pre-registration is mandatory. On-spot registration at the venue will not be allowed.

c) The referee’s decision is final and cannot be challenged.

d) All players must try to bring their own padel racket.

e) Players must report by reporting time mentioned in main page . Late arrivals may be disqualified.

f) If the tournament is not finished by 10 pm, the remaining games will continue the following Wednesday.

3. Match Categories

a) The tournament will feature Men’s Doubles.

b) Women’s or Mixed Doubles may be considered in future editions, depending on participation.

4. Game Rules

a) The tournament will be played in a Round Robin (League) format.

  • In a league system, each team plays against every other team in their group.

  • Teams earn points based on match results (win/loss), and rankings are determined by total points and sub points.

  • This ensures every team plays multiple matches, not just a knockout elimination.

b) After the group stage:

  • The top-ranked team from Group A will play a semi-final against the second-ranked team from Group B.

  • The top-ranked team from Group B will play a semi-final against the second-ranked team from Group A.

  • Winners of both semi-finals will meet in the Final.

c) Team numbers will be assigned through a random draw using the dedicated Team Draw tool available on our website. Or based on the registration.

d) Any team not reporting on time will concede a walkover, and the opponent will be awarded the win.

e) All matches, including the final, will be played as best of 1 sets, decided at game time based on available time.

f) A set will be played to five games; the first player/team to win three games wins the set.

g) For all matches, except the final, the following applies:

At Deuce (40-40), one Deuce point is played. If the score is still tied, a Golden Point is then played to decide the game.

In the Final, 2 Deuce points are allowed before golden point .

h) Service and scoring will follow standard IPF padel rules, except for the above modifications.

i) Court side or service choice will be determined by a coin toss conducted by the referee.

5. Conduct & Fair Play

a) Players must respect opponents, referees, and organizers at all times.

b) Misconduct, arguments, or use of foul language may result in disqualification.

c) In case of injury, a maximum of 5 minutes medical timeout will be allowed.

6. Prizes & Awards

(Prize pool may be adjusted if the number of registered teams is below the minimum requirement.(8) )

Note: The organizing committee reserves the right to modify or update rules as needed to ensure fair play and smooth execution of the event.
