Our tournaments use a League (Round Robin) format followed by knockouts. To ensure fairness, we follow a structured points system with sub-points as tie-breakers.
1. Match Points (Pts):
Win = 3 points
Loss = 0 points
No draws are allowed in padel.
2. Sub Points (SP):
Sub Points reflect the set difference in each match.
Formula: SP = (Sets Won – Sets Lost)
Example:
If Team A beats Team B by 3–2 sets:
Team A → +3 Pts, +1 SP
Team B → 0 Pts, –1 SP
If Team C beats Team D by 3–0 sets:
Team C → +3 Pts, +3 SP
Team D → 0 Pts, –3 SP
3. Ranking Order:
Teams are ranked based on:
Total Points (Pts) – higher points rank higher.
If tied → Sub Points (SP) – higher difference ranks higher.
If still tied → Head-to-Head result may be used as the final tie-breaker.
4. Knockout Stage Qualification:
After the league stage, the top 2 teams from each group qualify for the Semi-Finals:
Group A #1 vs Group B #2
Group B #1 vs Group A #2
Winners play the Final to decide the champion.
